Alternative education: SoundLab, Creative Arts and Business Box

What it is
An alternative learning programme for young people who are struggling in mainstream education. It uses mentoring to work with each young person's needs, interests and learning level, alongside recognised qualifications. Three courses are offered. SoundLab covers recording, production, songwriting, DJing, turntablism and music video making. Creative Arts and Photography covers graphic design, graffiti, illustration, animation and photography. Business Box covers setting up and running a micro business. All three offer GCSE alternatives, Key Stage 4 qualifications and Level 1 and Level 2 certificates.
