We want the information on Positively Devious to be right. Here is what we check, what we do not check, and how to tell us if something looks wrong.
Every listing is reviewed before it goes live
Nothing appears on the site until a person has looked at it. When a listing is submitted, whether by a member of the public or pulled from a source, it waits in a list until someone checks the details for accuracy and relevance. Only then does it go live.
What we do not check
We check that the details of an entry are right: what it is, when it runs, where it is, who it is for, and what it costs.
We do not vet the organisation behind it. We do not check their staff, their training, or their safety checks. Being listed here is not a recommendation from us.
Please do your own checks before your child goes along. Ask the organiser what happens on the day, who runs it, and how they keep young people safe. If something looks wrong, please report it.
What the labels mean
Some entries say “Being checked with the organiser”. That means we have checked the details we could find, but the organiser has not confirmed them with us yet. Once they do, the entry says it was checked by a real person and shows the month.
Anyone can report an issue
If you spot something wrong, out of date, or concerning, you can report it at any time. We read reports as soon as we can. You can report anonymously if you prefer.
We log all moderation decisions
Every approval, rejection, and update is recorded in our internal audit log. This means there is always a clear trail of what was reviewed, when, and by whom. We do this for accountability and to help us improve over time.
Re-checking listings
Once an organiser confirms an entry, it shows the month we checked it. We plan to re-check listings that run again and again on a regular cycle. That cycle has not started yet. When we find that something has changed, we update it or take it down.
