CCÉ Leicester Traditional Irish Music Classes for Young People

You can learn whistle, flute, fiddle, accordion, banjo or mandolin, alone or in a group. New learners of all backgrounds are welcome, though a parent or guardian must come along with younger children. Classes run every Monday evening during term time at the Emerald Centre, and your first lesson is free. After that it's £4 a week for members (£3.50 for younger brothers and sisters) or £8 a week if you're not a member, with an instrument-lending scheme to help with costs.
