Leicester Guildhall: free entry all year

What it is

Leicester Guildhall is the oldest building still in use in the city. The Great Hall was built about 1390. Entry is free to everyone and it is open every day, 11am to 4.30pm. There are free guided tours on set dates up to 31 August 2026, between 11.30am and 3.30pm. Tours must be booked. The Medieval Leicester galleries let you walk the streets of the medieval town. The Guildhall is also a performance venue, so look at the What's On page for shows.
